Our opinion as a music label: Currently, the possibilities of AI music for niche genres like goth and metal are really limited, and it sounds like a bad band. However, just 6 months ago, AI was not able to create niche music. It's a fact that in the very near future, AI will be able to create good niche music, and it will probably be difficult to distinguish which music is made by an AI and which by a human (from a technical point of view). It's also highly likely that, from that point, there will be a lot of AI-generated music uploaded by people who probably won't tag it as such. So, the big question for all of us as music lovers is, how will we deal with it?
